Playtime
PLAYTIME
We love to welcome families at St Johns Park Anglican. Playtime is a friendly playgroup for children aged 0-5 years old and their grown-ups. Playtime runs on Fridays during school term from 9:30am-11:30am (from week 2 till week 9).
We have a COVID19 safety plan and ask that all Playtime attendees please adhere to current COVID restrictions from the NSW government. If you or your child is sick please do not come to Playtime until they are better. If someone in your family has been sick please consider staying home too, so that others don’t get sick.
Although we are a Christian Church, we welcome all cultures and backgrounds to our Playtime. If you would like to know more about Jesus, or our church please speak to one of the volunteers or get in touch via our contact form here.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Each week we start with free play, where we have toys, craft, painting and other activities. We then all help pack away before having a short bible story, and then singing. Finally we finish with morning tea together.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Playtime is held in the first hall at St Johns Park Anglican Church (73 Edensor Rd, St Johns Park). There is plenty of parking on site in our car park.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Playtime costs $20 per term for one child, or $30 per term for 2+ children.
Please bring morning tea for your child, a drink bottle and any other supplies your child needs. We also have tea and coffee please be careful with hot drinks) and some cake. If you would like to celebrate your child’s birthday with us, please get in touch with our lovely team of helpers and we can arrange to have cupcakes to celebrate.
Please do not bring nuts to Playtime. This is to protect those with allergies who may have a severe medical reaction to nuts. As some children have allergies to other foods, please do not share your food with anyone else.
On your first visit you will be asked to complete a registration form so that we have medical information and emergency contact details for the safety of all who come along.
OTHER INFORMATION
Please feel free to take photos of your own children, but before taking photos of other children please ask their parent or guardian first.
OUR PLAYTIME TEAM
Playtime is run by volunteers from St John's Park Anglican Church, who have all completed a Safe Ministry Training and have had a Working With Children Check.
