Mission Partners

At St Johns Park Anglican Church, our vision is to ‘make and grow disciples of Christ, from all cultures’. As part of this, we believe in the importance of partnering with others to share the gospel of Jesus. One of the ways we do this is through supporting CMS (Church Missionary Society) and more directly supporting specific missionaries.

How to support our missionaries

We believe that partnering with our missionaries involves many different aspects. Find out how you can be part of God’s mission by praying, caring and giving to support our missionaries and the work they do.

Prayer

When we read the Bible we see that prayer and evangelism are inescapably linked. We pray because we believe that mission belongs to God and depends on God. We pray that God might open people’s hearts and minds to the salvation that is only found through Jesus. Therefore prayer is crucial in caring for and partnering with our missionaries. You can sign up to Nick and Kysha’s prayer letter below.

Give

One of the ways to partner with our missionaries is through financial giving. It takes a lot of behind the scenes work to send and support missionaries as they seek to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can give financially by setting up regular giving online via direct deposit here please include the mission partner you would like the money to go towards in the description).

Care

There are so many ways we can care for our missionaries to support them as we partner together in sharing the gospel. Find a great list of ideas on the CMS website here.
